Most Used Weapons/Professions
I think swords and warriors are most used.
Bows and Rangers are in the middle.
Wands and mesmers are least used.

Any kind of offhand focus. About 80% of people use two handed staffs.

I've never quite understood this. Other than the potential for +20 energy (Insightful head and +5>50), staves are basically equal or inferior to wand/focus (or martial weapon/focus) combos for every permutation if you meet the focus's requirement.
+3 energy doesn't seem like it's worth it...

Preference.
I generally kit heroes out with staves. And lets face it, GW PvE really doesn't require you to be at your best...

Yeah I used to have wand/offhand but at this point with a fully maxed out staff I can rock and roll pve or pvp. Preference I guess.

Well, I think every PvE character should have a longbow, regardless of profession, or the stats of the longbow. Purely for pulling reasons. So I suspect that longbows are the most common. However, that is assuming most PvE players actually do think about pulling, which might be a stretch.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Hammers drop disproportionately much more than anything else.

well, if wands and staves count on the weapon list, I'd say they get the top spot for "most used weapon" simply because there are 5 professions that use them.
as far as martial weapons go, I'd say it goes about
1. sword
2. axe
3. bow
4. hammer
5. scythe
6. dagger
7. spear
though tbh I think the last 3 or 4 spaces are up in the air.

since there are 5 caster classes I would tend to say staves are the most used. I like them especially on heroes ---just in case my storage is full I can drop a shield or focus item on them and have a free storage space!
Other casters are using spears and swords but still have a staff as backup .
Almost all of my characters have a bow for long range pulling, and one of my mesmers and one of my monks use it almost exclusively.
least used daggers and scythes....since only sins use daggers and dervishes use the scythes....

Martial + Focus can. With better overall stats.
Wand/Martial + Focus has also advantage of one being able to have more equipment permutations with less storage slots and without remoding (ya rly.)
